Education Services
We are committed to testing ourselves continually by finding ways to always be educating others.
We ensure that every client understands why every design decision was made on their project. You should find yourself with a building and systems that you understand. We also educate future designers and engineers - mentorship is invaluable, especially in an industry where most knowledge is tribal- or experiential-knowledge.
Proactively spreading this knowledge makes better projects, better people, and better communities.

About Kopeak
Our actions and work at Kopeak are always driven by our core ethic - treating others how we want to be treated. That means providing you the best service possible for a fair and transparent price, all while making the process as enjoyable and straightforward as possible. We have no desire to generate excess profit and arbitrarily grow our company or our incomes. We are good stewards of our resources, and we will be good stewards of yours - providing you timely, high quality designs, that meet your financial goals.
To date we have saved our clients at least $250,000 in design fees alone. Additionally, we have designed over 50 projects with no mechanical design change orders, evidence that we provide better designs, at a better price, resulting in better buildings for everyone.
In an effort to bring others ‘up’ for the benefit of the community, we have also assisted several other engineers in starting up their own firms - we believe in cooperation over competition and have worked with nearly a dozen people to start their own business from California to Florida. We aim to grow the number of small independent engineering firms, creating a cooperative-type structure where clients get the benefit of excellent engineering without needing to work with larger, more expensive and cumbersome firms.
If you’re interested in starting your own consulting business, please reach out - we share our processes, start-up costs, examples of our work, and info you may need to be become a better engineer in your community.
The Name: Kopeak, pronounced like ko-peek, is a nickname that my son gave me when he was a toddler - it was his version of "Korey" during the time when I was starting this company.
